How to boost your mood in spring?
It’s the time of year when all the things come alive and experience renewal, when everything is changing and promising new life and new hope.
Nature invites us to go out with its exploxion of sights, sounds and colours!

Spring is finally here and it has a big positive impact on our moods.
So, how to improve your mood and energy after the winter?
– open your windows, let the fresh air in and hear the birds singing

– feel the rays of the sun on your face – exposure to sunshine allows the body to produce vitamin D
– clean and refresh your entire house
– fill your house with sweet fragrance of seasonal flowers, like tulips, hyacinths or daffodils

– slow down if you feel fatigued and overworked, set your priorities and reduce your list of ‘must-do’ things
– try to relax, try yoga, meditation or simply doing your favourite activities, as emotions caused by stress & anxiety consume huge amounts of energy
– exercise, go for a walk, ride a bike, do some gardening or dance to your favourite music – you will give your body cells and brain more oxygen and you will sleep better
– eat seasonal food – change unhealthy habits, swap heavy foods to light and fresh foods that spring offers, like fruit or veggies, you’ll find on your local market (ok, dark chocolate is also a good mood booster)
– drink more water, detox your body
– talk to your close friend, open up with your problems – laughter with friends is the best medicine
– find passion that gives you joy and excitement
– play with your pet or borrow one from a friend or relative, if you can – interaction with animals boost the feel-good chemicals
– spend time outside in nature – by the seaside, in the mountains, in a park, in a meadow by the lake or around trees in a forest

SPRING – A lovely reminder of how beautiful change can truly be…
